01 Delete in the app
Open Wanderio, go to Home, tap the settings gear in the top-right corner, then choose Delete Account & Data in the Account section. Review what will be deleted, type DELETE, and confirm Delete Permanently. The app completes the request and shows an Account deleted confirmation without requiring you to contact support.
02 If you cannot access the app
Email wanderio.support@gmail.com from the address registered to your Wanderio account with the subject “Wanderio account deletion request”. Do not send your password, payment details, or identity documents.
03 Data that is deleted
Your account, profile, preferences, photos, trips, group memberships, posts, messages, device tokens, and other content associated with your Wanderio account are deleted or anonymised. Content shared with other people may remain only where needed to preserve the integrity of their conversations, with your identity removed where possible.
04 Limited retention
Deletion is normally immediate but can take up to 30 days across backups and connected systems. We may retain limited records when required for fraud prevention, safety investigations, legal obligations, accounting, or resolving disputes. These records are restricted and removed when the applicable retention period ends.
05 Subscriptions
Deleting your Wanderio account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed through Apple or Google Play. Cancel the subscription in your device’s store subscription settings to prevent future renewal.
