When you use Wanderio, we collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, profile photo, travel preferences, and journal entries. We also collect location data (with your permission) to show nearby travelers and auto-tag journal entries.
We use your information to: provide and improve the app, match you with compatible travelers, enable trip planning features, display your travel journal, and send relevant notifications. We do not sell your personal data.
Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers with encryption at rest and in transit. Verification photos are encrypted and only used for identity verification. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
We use the following third-party services: Google Sign-In (authentication), Apple Sign-In (authentication), Supabase (data storage), Open-Meteo (weather data), and RevenueCat (subscriptions). Each service has its own privacy policy.
You can: access your data, update your profile, delete your account and all associated data, export your journal entries, and opt out of location tracking at any time through the app settings.
Location data is used to: show nearby travelers, auto-detect your city/country for journal entries, and provide weather information. You can disable location access in your device settings at any time.
Wanderio is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.
